Either for indoor or outdoor use, a stacked stone tile wall can add a level of drama. With a variety of color options and sizes, you are sure to find some that fits your look and budget. Unlike manufactured stone panels, stone ledger panels bring unmatchable variation and beauty to where they are installed

Marble is a metamorphic rock found in mountainous region of the world. Calcite crystal is the main building block of marble. In general the grading for marble depends on the color variation and hardness. Also any physical defects on the sizes, polish, edges are accepted as a second or commercial grade. Since most of the marble tiles are harder stones than travertine and limestone they require bigger and more complicated machines to process.
Toros Black Stacked Stone Ledger Panels gets 3 out of 5 for variation that means medium variation.
  • Variation: 3/5

Variation is up to your taste but for density in general denser is better in terms of longevity, stain resistance and the wear-tear resistance. In general softer and more porous stones will require more maintenance. As you might know porous stones absorption rate will be higher and they will stain a lot easier. Of course you can always prevent this by using a heavy duty sealer but that will cost you more as well.
